What an amazing day for Eric and Ashley!! Congrats on your BEAUTIFUL wedding that turned out PERFECT! Ashley being a wedding/event planner herself for GPW Coordinating, actually got to be on the other side this time and enjoyed the day to the fullest with her new hub! These two tied the knot with grace and style in an emotionally pack day, full of tears and laughter. I had an absolute blast capturing their small intimate ceremony on T-Street beach and larger than life reception at a private home overlooking that same beach. Cheers to both of you on a successful bash! It was definitely one to remember, that's for sure!

Have you EVER seen such an adorable fresh life!!! I don't know if it's the noes or the soft warm skin or the hair (probably the hair coming from a mom of a seriously bald baby) that melts my heart whenever I look at this precious baby but she has me captivated! Every once in awhile I get to photograph a beloved, fresh life that wants to show off their eye's. Now most of the time fresh babies love to sleep and getting the open eye shots within the first week of life is a fat chance. But not with this shoot, baby "I" was wide eyed for the majority of the shoot and was gracious enough now to cry long enough for me to capture them.

Wow, I can't believe Gage is already 3 months old! CRAZY!!! It has been so fun watching him grow and seeing his personality come out. Let me tell you this kid is a straight up spaz! His arms and legs go 100 miles an hour just to get out a simple and sweet "a goo", makes me laugh every time.

Man, I love newborn photography! How can you not, just look at this precious chubba! Her lips are to die for and that hair, Priceless!!! Here is a little tidbit of fun information… She shares Gage’s birthday. They were born 1 hour apart, at the same hospital just 2 rooms away! Pure awesomeness and even though they share their birthday God makes each one of His beloved childeren unique. Gage is seriously bald with very thin lips and is pretty much a sack of bones. Enjoy the way I captured sweet baby “S”.

Well, I made it through the first 2 months of my precious twerp faces life and my older boys are still alive! Serious accomplishment!!! I know I haven't gotten around to sharing my own birth story yet and am totally blogging backwards so you have no idea the awesome background of this onesie he is wearing. So here goes, of course I saw this idea on non-other than Pinterest and fell in love with it. I put my own spin on it to make it my own because I wasn’t really interested in just framing it, I wanted him to wear it home from the hospital, sent out into this world literally covered in blessings, prayers, verses and well wishes from those that loved him even before he was here. If I ever get around to blogging my delivery story I will post pics of the entire front and back (every single one of the messages are absolutely precious). But for now here are some of my favorite quotes written for Gage by my lady friends. It was a game we played at my shower called “Wishes for Baby”. Everyone filled out all of them and I picked my fav and wrote them below.

Welcome Beloved "I" ORANGE COUNTY HOME BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHER

Has there ever been a time in your life where you knew you were right where God wanted you to be? Right in the middle of His aww and wonder and you were taken back by the amazement of what He had in store for you? Well that is exactly what I felt the entire time I was capturing this home birth! There are no words to express just how blessed I fell to have been a part of this amazing morning!
Let me start at the beginning. I just had my twerp 4 days before and (to keep it G rated) was still in an enormous amount of pain due to the “work” I had done. I apparently thought I was supermom and let my pain meds wear off which left me in a state of utter shock at the amount of pain that I actually felt. No joke from 10pm to 4:30am I was out of commission. Seriously couldn’t move without crying, it was absolutely terrible! My pain was finally manageable around 5am.

Meanwhile, my client was due the day I delivered and was now 4 days past her due date. And yes I prayed with everything in me that she would be late to give me a few days to recover and make the delivery.

5:17am I get the phone call from her to let me know this is it and that she had been laboring all night. WOW, talk about perfect timing for sure! I throw clothes on and get there as fast as I can to document one of the most amazing experiences I have ever been a part of. Being her 4th delivery, things went very fast and, even though she told me different, she looked so in control and peaceful. I’ll let the images take it from here…

Introducing Gage Abel Badraun

So, I have never been the best or fastest blogger and I thought for sure I would have posted the images of Gage as soon as they were processed but that so isn't the case. So, I introduce to you my now 6 week old twerp face at 5 days old. Even though he was our girl try, I couldn't imagine my life without him with his bald dome and absolutely hilarious (except at 3am) noises, grunts and growls. Yes I said growls this kid doesn't cry all that often but sometimes I think I gave birth to a bear. Enjoy my precious twerp face #3…

...Introducing the best big brother's of all time! Here's to many memories, snuggle parties and I'm sure, fist fights...

...and of course I can't forget about my seriously hot hubby and amazing dad! Love him!!!

... Maybe sometime in the future I will get my act together enough to process and write my delivery story! We shall see...

Ok, I waited long enough and I knew if this child came out before I snapped a few shots of just what he did to my body I would kick myself later on. So, I sucked it up, put on the only color in my closet and went to work. Thank God I only need a few images to remember this lovely time in my life. 38 weeks and counting…

Now if he will please stay put till next weekend, it would be so great cause I have shoots booked!

Meet the perfect little family, R, X and fresh baby L. (OK, I’m just a little jealous given the fact that I’m due to pop out my third boy anytime soon and was totally pulling for a girl) Anyways, coming straight off at 10lb newborn shoot this sweet baby felt extra tiny weighing in at just above 6lb, so precious and lovable, I just wanted to sqeeze her. I have a feeling this little girl is never going lack in the snuggling category and might get anything she ever wants being A: the baby of the family, B: daddy’s one and only little girl and C: having 2 older brothers. Now that’s a recipe for always feeling LOVED!

Meet baby E and her new big sister A, who by the way did an awesome “big sister dance” for me that was full of head bopping, clapping and getting low! Then to top it off mom pulled out this bunny set and these amazingly textured blankets her aunt made I just knew I would not be pulling from my own prop box for this shoot. Ok, seriously… I want a set of this in my prop box. Really, how cute is this baby bunny! I love nothing more than a shoot with a very personal feel and a great aunts hand made with love items put a priceless edge to shoot for sure.

Hanna's Restaurant

Cheer’s to Hanna’s for being names one of Orange County’s Top 10 and America's Top 100 Restaurants in 2012! I always love a change of pace and shooting Hanna’s new DaVino Room and food was that indeed! The DaVino Room, which is used for private dinner parties, banquets, company holiday parties, you name it you can have it here, just exudes amazing! From the hundreds of wine bottles that line the walls to the bold lighting, I can’t think of a better place to have a local bash!

How can you not get hungry just looking at this food! I’m not going to lie, it made me starving just photographing it. I am honored and stoked that my images will be used for their new website that will be launched very soon and for all their marketing needs… SWEET!

This sweet chubba holds a special place in my heart and I welcome her to the family with open arms. Meet baby "M" my newest niece, so excited for Gage to have a cousin the same age to grow up with, so awesome! Normally during a newborn shoot I can wait out the fresh ones until they go to sleep and I can graciously position them the way I want but clearly "M" had her own plans staying awake for 90% of the shoot, I finally had to give in and capture her wide awake. At least she never cried which left me with some amazing images of her precious face and little eyeballs!

Now most of you may know that I am not, at all, a fan of a huge satellite dishes that some mom’s call a bow. Maybe I just have never seen a baby that can pull it off…well I found one!! Meet baby “L” and let me tell you this little bundle of joy could pull this one off any day of the week! TO DIE FOR. I just can’t get over it, so flippin cute! Maybe just maybe, IF I have a girl with as much hair as this one I might have to rock a satellite dish too!

And my toes, legs, arms and eyes! With 2 boys in the house (3 really) I am finally willing and ready as I can be to share my space with another girl! Although we have no idea what I am carrying just yet, and clearly will be happy and blessed with whatever pops out, I'm just saying, it’s time to pass my name down!

16 weeks and counting, hoping really, that I make it past Christmas and maybe even the New Year before I hit the sac for the last 4 months (puke). Although my pregnancy’s bring me such uncertainties there is one thing I rest assure in, God is who He says He is, God can do what he says He can do, I am who God says I am, I can do all things through Christ, and God’s word is alive and active in me! (Beth Moore’s Believing God study) With this simple knowledge, boy or girl, bed rest or no bed rest, I have peace, knowing His plans for me and my life are good because He wants to give me a hope and a future.

Let’s face it I’m a GREAT boy mom, but I know I can be just as good of a girl mom and if I start sucking, freaking out and or going crazy because of the DRAMA, I’m sure I’ll be facing, then I always have Radyn and Boston to enlighten her to what we call a “tackle party”! Many Christmas blessings to you and your family and a New Year full of hope and joy!

So ,while editing this shoot my 5 year old, Boston comes in and is super shocked and excited and with huge enthusiasm and yells “MOM, you got to take picture of Justin Beiber!!!” Hahahahhahah, dying is all I have to say!!! Now, I know how un-cool this may seem to Mr. “T” being a senior and all but from a 5 year old it just means you are majorly cool! I only wish I looked as good as "C" did when I was pregnant! I know you might be thinking I say that for every maternity shoot but if you were so blessed to have known me while I was carrying you would agree with me 100%! Such a cute bump!

And with every cute bump comes an even cuter lump! How precious is this lump of sugar! Really right now??? These newborn shoots are to tie me over until the time is right for me to hopefully try for a lump of sugar that I can call my own some day in the distant furure, not make me crave one right now! Man sweet baby "T" you could have cried or something!
